The author has a way of writing that makes you WANT to open your Bible and receive the treasures there! She is down to earth and obviously loves the Lord. This book is no different. She leads us to several chapters in the Psalms, where we see joy, lamenting, restoration. It will guide the reader to find hope, relief for anxiety, and encouragement to keep waiting and trusting in God. Additionally, the hymns and poetry (contributed by husband Mark, a worship leader) add richness to this guide.
This book can be used alone or in a group Bible Study. The artwork is delightful and the words will keep you wanting to keep discovering what God is saying through His word. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys Bible Study!
